Formed in August 2009, the Association’s primary role is to recognise and encourage Evangelists within New Zealand. Under the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit we would like to recognise the importance of the office of the Evangelist as mentioned in Eph.4: 10-11.
The Vision and Focus of the Association can be summarised in three words,
Equip, Encourage and Encounter:
Equip: Evangelists in the church so that they can also equip others for the works of ministry.
Encourage: Evangelists by meeting together and working together on missions, conferences and outreaches around the country or outside NZ.
Encounter: God’s blessings and fruitfulness where Evangelists are planted, especially in the context of the local church.
It is our prayer and hope that more Evangelists will be raised, called and empowered by God today and in the future in God’s harvest field.
